Is it worth putting a cover on a pool under heavy trees?
It reduces the organic load substantially and cuts both cleaning time and chemical consumption, which is a genuine saving on a pool under this much canopy.
The trade-offs are practical: covers need somewhere to go when off, they are a nuisance on a pool that is used daily, and a cover left on a dirty pool traps the debris rather than excluding it. It suits some households and not others.
